The workshop on 15th September introduces innovative city modelling tools from the European graduate school CITYNET tested in the project area Scharnhauser Park in Ostfildern, Germany, co-funded by the European Commission.

Workshop-Programme
Presentations will be followed by online demonstrations.

• Urban energy management concepts
• Demonstration: GIS for building energy visualization, PV potential analysis
• Online building simulation for demand control
• Demonstration of integrated building simulation tools
• Renewable energy simulation: photovoltaics, biomass, thermal cooling
• Demonstration of Web based design tool

Conditions of Participation
The programme is subject to change. Up to 50 participants can take part in the workshop. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Workshop language is English without translation into German.

POLYCITY Excursion

Meetingpoint: 15:30, Stadthaus Scharnhauser Park, Gerhard-Koch-Straße 1, 73760 Ostfildern, Germany

At the excursion to the Scharnhauser Park demonstration area will be shown the biomass ORC power generation, district heating and cooling and efficient office and residential building projects are possible.
